Our Annual Children’s Christmas Service
The tamariki have been so busy this week practising to put on a fantastic show for you all this Sunday! In between rehearsals at the church and constant Christmas songs playing in our brains, the children have also been enjoying creating some Christmas artwork. Not pictured are the wonderful Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, shepherds, animals, angels and stars that are gracing our project wall – you will see even more in the church on Sunday. But besides these, the children have made paper snowflakes, Santa sacks, angels, and even a life-size Santa Claus. The jury is still out on this last one – you decide whether it is Father Christmas with his beard or Mother Christmas wearing a skirt or a combination of the two!
We cannot wait to sing to you this weekend and hope you will join us in the church at 9:45 for our annual Christmas service (please settle your children in the kindergarten, entrance through the church hall). You are also invited to join us for morning tea after the service finishes. The tamariki have put so much hard work in (and many hours practising here and at home) and we are all so proud of them on that stage. I’m sure you all will be too!
