Firstly, Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you all had a beautiful day, got lot’s of kisses, heaps of hugs and a delicious dinner.

Today I have a science experiment for you (it is one of my favourites!). We are dying flowers and plants!

You will need some food colouring, cups or jars, flowers/ cabbage (or something similar) and a bit patience…

Place each flower or item in the glass with food colouring and wait for it to drink up the colour- this will take a few hours. 

To extend this activity you can split the stem and place each side into different colours. Or once the flower has been in one colour for a while swap colours. Enjoy your rainbow flowers!
